Neal Handel, MD, a board certified Plastic Surgeon, has been in practice in Southern California for 45 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in 1969, where he graduated with honors. He received his MD from Yale University in 1973. Handel did his general surgery training at UCLA and Tulane, and completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Handel underwent fellowship training in England and Scotland prior to entering practice in Los Angeles in 1980.
As a Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine, he is actively involved in training young surgeons. A well-known leader in the field, Dr. Handel is often invited to lecture at professional meetings throughout the United States and around the world; he has performed live surgery demonstrations at the prestigious Baker Gordon Symposium in Miami, FL., as well as at plastic surgery meetings in Korea, China and Russia.
Dr. Handel has written more than 60 articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals, authored twelve chapters in medical textbooks and coedited a major new textbook Problems in Breast Surgery – A Repair Manual published in 2014.
For 17 years Handel was co-director of The Breast Center, a multidisciplinary group practice devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disorders. During this time Dr. Handel gained extensive experience in various facets of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. In addition to perfecting his skills in breast surgery, Dr. Handel has maintained a busy cosmetic surgery practice, performing hundreds of cosmetic operations of the eyelids, nose and face as well as body contouring procedures including abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat grafting. He is often interviewed for newspaper and magazine articles and was featured in a ten-part documentary on plastic surgery broadcast on The Learning Channel and the Discovery Health Channel.
Dr. Handel has received numerous citations for excellence. He was selected in 2006 by C- Magazine as one of the “ten best” plastic surgeons in California, was selected by Los Angeles Magazine (based on peer recommendations from other physicians) as one of Los Angeles’s “Super Doctors” for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020; Dr. Handel was also listed by “Super Doctors” as a top doctor for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and chosen for inclusion on the prestigious “Castle Connolly Top Doctor” list for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

With a rich background as a dermatologist and injector since 2016 in Armenia, Lilit brings a wealth of experience to her role at BrightCraft MedSpa, where she has been contributing her skills as a registered nurse.

Elen Hrayryan, our Treatment Coordinator and Operating Manager, brings over 4 years of management experience and 2 years in the medical spa field. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Elen is committed to excellence and is currently planning to pursue a master’s degree in Finance in France.
Elen holds a specialist certificate in ZO Skin Health and actively participates in the same training programs as our nursing staff. Elen is so nice and welcoming. She made my entire visit feel very comfortable and familiar. I received a HydraFacial treatment from Ruzanna, who was very helpful and kind. She walked me through each step of the process before she did it and answered any questions that I had. I'm happy with my results so far and would definitely book here again.
The friendliest staff and the cleanest most modern facility ever! I’ve been to numerous med spas and doctors offices in Glendale, Burbank, the valley and even the west side, but BrightCraft aesthetics is now my go-to! Their facial is beyond personalized and they also offer skin care products for you to continue effective skin care at home. I love this! Laser hair removal services are also amazing, and I’ve gotten great results in a fraction of the time, compared to other med spas. I can't wait to try the rest of their services soon. They also have plenty of parking and a very nice accessible location for easy in and out. I can’t wait to try to rest of the services they have to offer!

This place has become my go to one since they opened. Im always pleased by their great customer service and the organization they have. Elen, the receptionist always finds a time to give an appointment when I am in a rush and a true kind soul. Ruzannna on the other hand does my laser and I cannot say enough how nice and patient she is.
Hands down the best medspa I have ever walked in to! The staff is super friendly and kind and they helped me with everything I need. Very accommodating. The spa is very clean and well kept! I went in for a few laser treatments and the results I’m seeing are amazing. I highly recommend stopping by there if you’re interested in any type of medspa treatments and procedures. They also have amazing specials throughout the year so make sure to check on that as well!

I came for a skincare consultation and I was suggested to get micro-needling. I was a bit worried at first since I have a very sensitive skin, but trust me the results are so worth it.
